All WebFusion VPS solutions include Plesk 8 and Virtuozzo control panel technology from SWSoft. Plesk is a proven control panel solution for shared, virtual and dedicated hosting in Windows and Unix/ Linux environments.

Total control

The Plesk control panel is a comprehensive server management tool that let's you configure your server through a convenient web-based interface. It allows you to control all aspects of your server, including: DNS, virtual hosts, cron jobs / scheduled tasks, web services, scripting software, statistics, monitor server performance, manage SSL certificates, setup / install / configure databases and activate scripting languages including Ruby on Rails for example.

Four levels of access

Administrator: The highest server level login gives administrators the power and control they need to manage all operations.
Client/Reseller: Second tier login account giving users domain creation rights. Clients can administer groups of domains using a single login.
Domain Owner: Third tier domain owner accounts with predetermined access rights and an interface made for single domain administration.
Mail User: A fourth tier individual mail account. Users log in to their interface and manage passwords, spam filters, anti-virus settings and more.

Domain management

Deploy a new site with point-and-click ease, based on a domain template or custom requirements. Automatically creates DNS and appropriate application entries, such as Apache, FTP & Mail.
Create @ domains and sub domains.
Manage multiple domain aliases pointing to a single site; e.g. www.webfusion.com and www.webfusion.co.uk .

Site management

Automate new site deployment by defining a site template once.
Upload and manage site files using File-Manager and use the WYSIWYG HTML viewer.
Manage SSL Certificates.
Create protected directories (SSL and non-SSL) and assign users to them.
Manage multiple databases per site.
Create Crontab/ scheduled tasks.
Add FrontPage extensions and Manage site using FrontPage Web-Admin.

Mail management

Configure mail boxes, aliases and forwarding.
Create autoresponders and vacation messages.

Stats & reporting

Webalizer graphical usage statistics is included for all sites.
Log Rotation Management with access to raw log files.
View your server's resource utilisation including uptime, CPU, Memory, Disk Space and Network usage.
