- This applies to .com and .net domains.
- TRANSFER PROHIBITED
- This applies to .org, .biz and .info domain names.
When a domain name is set to this status, the domain is locked down and changes and updates can't be made.
Why is this status used?
This status is used to prevent fraudulent transfers of domain names. Webfusion set this as the default for security purposes.
