Domain Names
The Domain Names page lists all domain names active on your account. By default, the listing is in ascending alphabetical order by domain name, you can however reorder the listing by clicking on the appropriate column headings. The number of domains shown at once can be adjusted by entering the desired number into the text box at the bottom right of the domains table and clicking 'Set'. If the number of domains in the current set exceeds the configured maximum per page, you can use the 'Next' and 'Previous' navigation links to browse through them.
Searching For A Domain Name
You can search for a domain name by entering all or part of it, or the username of the account it is mapped to into the search box and clicking 'Search'. The database will be searched and any domain name matching the search criteria displayed. To return to the complete listing of domain names, click the 'Show All Domains' link.
Mapped To
The username of the account the domain is mapped (pointed) to is shown, click the username to map a domain name to a different account. You can have multiple domains mapped to the same account.
Expires
If you registered a domain name through or transferred a domain name to webfusion, the date when the current registration period will expire is shown. Domain names due to expire shortly are highlighted in bold red font, and may be renewed by clicking the red expiry date. Please refer to our Domain Renewals documentation for detailed information regarding renewal of a domain name.
Delete Domain
To delete a domain, click its corresponding 'Delete' link. You will be asked to confirm the action before the domain is actually deleted. When you confirm the action, the domain is erased from the system. Please note that domain names registered through or transferred to webfusion cannot be removed from the Control Panel until the displayed expiration date has passed, map them to 'No Mapping' if you no longer which to host a web site at them.
