How do I install a Fusion App?

This article applies to Webfusion Shared Linux Hosting packages.

To install a Fusions App to your Webfusion hosting package, please do the following:

Log in to your Webfusion control panel at https://myserverworld.net.

Click on the My webspace button.

Click on the Fusions Apps button.

Click on the text that says It’s easy to try a new application with Fusions Apps.

Click on the relevant Install link for the application you wish to install.

You will then be required to agree to Webfusion’s and the application’s terms of service and then click on the Next button.

Select the relevant domain name from the drop down box and provide the folder name you want the application installed to in the empty box provided.

Click on the Next button.

We will set up your database for you, please provide the password you want to give the database in the relevant box and click on the Next button.

You will then be required to provide more information, however the information that we request will be dependent upon the application you are installing. Provide the relevant information and click on the Next button.

Please note: If you wish to make your chosen application the default homepage for your site, please check the Set as default application box. This will result in the installed application being located at your root URL, for example www.mydomain.com.

Warning: If you decide to check this box any current .htaccess file will be permanently overwritten.

Click on the Install button.
