This article explains how to add a database server on your VPS running Plesk 10.

First, Login to your Parallels Plesk Panel.

Click on the Tools & Utilities link located on the left panel.

Select the Database Server from the drop-down menu and click on it.

Click on the Add Database Server icon.

Select the Database server type from the drop down box.

Enter the Host name or IP address.

Enter a username and password.
That't it! You have successfully set up a database on your VPS hosting.
