Document Collaboration

Document workspace sites created using Microsoft Word 2003 take advantage of platform features by providing a document collaboration space. Perhaps you've found that revisions and changes get missed because notes get lost or the suggestions made in the original document weren't highlighted.

In Sharepoint, you can add comments and suggestions to a document and attach it directly to the file. The discussion file can then act as a scratch pad for anyone who comes to review the document and wants to add their own comments. Users can each respond to comments and questions to keep an open dialogue about the project without having to meet face to face.
